Hand drawn lampshades

Cutting lino can be quite hard going on your hands.  It can also be difficult to produce good prints on fabric to then be made into shades.  I wanted to increase my range of candle and lampshades and developed a range of drawings that would work in this way.  My first drawn shade was Saltaire and with my print work featured various architectural pieces from Saltaire.

My range has now grown to include Edinburgh and Grey street in Newcastle city centre.  I will be adding to this in the future but if you would like your own city, or home featured in a shade then contact me directly to talk about a commission

I have sold these as wedding and new home presents.  I can draw onto various colours and fabrics but prefer to work in cotton and calico.  I keep to a grey, tonal colour palette.  These work in various settings.  As each piece is hand drawn and hand made slight differences will occur but I work to my original drawing design.

Made from fabric backed onto UV stable and flame retardant PVC.

Prices start at £75 for a 25 cm diameter.

All of my work is original and hand drawn onto the fabric by myself.
